You now we all live in a cloud call social media. Before media operated as sender. We decided what signal we take and that it was. When I was a kid we also had our networks, circles and social plattforms. Saturday night we always came together to listen, discuss and fight for our new records.
It was so simple. 10 guys (no women??!) talked about music, why they bought a record, why Eric Clapton is more boring than Leslie West, ???!! ......

NEWS!

No holiday in sight and heavy construction work at home.

Beside physical work it makes real fun to work on the final mix of the “The Now Music Quartet” - CD feat. Doug Hammond (dr, voc., comp.), Dwight Adams (tr), Roman Filiu (alto sax) & John Sass (tuba) or on a CD-documentary with Klaus Hollinetz (there will be also a DVD available) of the Parade which happend early may 2009.

The Smiling Buddhas: Lo

Our Take

Austria’s The Smiling Buddhas have been around for over a decade now, but didn’t release their first album until late last year. Part of the reason for this is that co-founder John Fitzpatrick moved back to Hong Kong, and despite the fact that he and Nepal Hun tried to continue as a mail art project he ended up quitting. But Nepal Hun went off on his own, and as a result the group now has its debut album Lo. Offering a mix of ambient and experimental electronica, this is a release that really has a sound of its own and is very atmospheric.
