Videos: Hyper8 stimulates my desire for a video archive

I pretty much turned my back on Vimeo at the beginning of 2025, on YouTube I only keep a placeholder for my label name and otherwise I trust DORFTV.

With Hyper8 by Simon Repp, I developed the desire to manage all my videos myself and put them online. To leave all the big companies out of it for once. To go back to the roots. DIY and DIWO (Do It With Others). So I upload my videos from my Debian office computer via Hyper8 - a static site generator for video publishing - into the system via the beautiful mask and then via ftp to the best server in the world servus.at.
