Episode am Fluss - A tribute to the first Klangwolke 1979

Sonntagabend erzählen Ars Electronica und WegbereiterInnen aus den vergangenen vier Jahrzehnten eine „Episode am Fluss“: Mit einer künstlerischen Hommage an die allererste Klangwolke 1979 bringen Sam Auinger, Wolfgang Fadi Dorninger, AGF, Christian Fennesz, Rupert Huber und Roberto Paci Dalò, Cao Thanh Lan und Gregor Siedl, und andere den Donaupark vor dem Brucknerhaus zum Klingen.

On Sunday evening, Ars Electronica and pioneers from the past four decades will tell an “Episode am Fluss“: Sam Auinger, Wolfgang Fadi Dorninger, AGF, Christian Fennesz, Rupert Huber and Roberto Paci Dalò, Cao Thanh Lan and Gregor Siedl, and others will pay tribute to the very first Klangwolke 1979 in an artistic homage to the Donaupark in front of the Brucknerhaus.

Zwei gänzlich unterschiedliche Klang-Räume kollidieren in "Innen Aussen" heftig. Irgendwo expandiert der Klang-Raum, anderorts wird das Wegfließen verhindert. Die Klang-Performance basiert auf Field-Recordings, synthetischen Klängen selbstgebauter Klangmaschinen, künstlichen Vogelstimmen und algorithmischer Klangerzeugung.

Two completely different sound spaces collide violently in "Inside Outside". Somewhere the sound space expands, elsewhere the flow is prevented. The sound performance is based on field recordings, synthetic sounds of self-made sound machines, artificial bird sounds and algorithmic sound generation.
